Week 2
Well the first week was off to a great start! The students are getting settled into a routine and we are jumping right into chapter 1.
This week in Course 2 we will be focusing on chapter 1. The students will be working on variables and expressions as well as using the order of operations.

This week in Pre-Algebra we will be looking into Chapter 1. The students will be challenged with complicated problems involving combining like terms. This is one of my favorite lessons since it is so heavily tied into high school algebra.

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! I am very excited to be starting my fourth year here at Lakeview. It appears that the 7th grade students are excited to start school again, especially since they know their way around Lakeview so well.I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.
The textbook for 7th grade math has an online version. This will be a good addition to the various resources available for our students.
