Week of 2/28

We will be taking the ISATs all this week. Please remind students to get plenty of sleep and to eat a healthy breakfast!

We have been preparing for these tests all year and the students should do great!

With the rotating schedule the students in course 2 will only be going over sections 8.1 and 8.2. Pre-Algebra students will be exploring the world of percents in sections 8.1-8.3.

This week we will continue with our ISAT review in all of the classes.

I am excited to see how the Pre-Algebra Dream Room Project has turned out. I have some very imaginative students! The project is due on Tuesday!!

Week of 2/14

Happy Valentine's Day!


This week the Course 2 students will be taking a test over chapter 7 on Tuesday. Then we will be exploring the wonderful world of extended responses and ISAT review.

In Pre-Algebra students will be taking their chapter 7 test on Monday. Then we will be doing a brief ISAT review.

This week PACK THE PLACE is on TUESDAY. Don't forget to wear your green!

Week of 2/7

It is great to be back at school after two snow days! I changed the quiz that was originally set for Thursday 2/3 to be a take home quiz. I told the students they are to work on it alone, no help from friends, siblings or parents. They are able to use their notes and a calculator.

During the week of 2/7 students are invited to participate in Pack the Place spirit days
Wednesday- Gold Day- and Pack the Place!
Thursday- Pattern Day
Friday- Wacky Hair Day

Monday 2/14 Tu-Tu Monday
Tuesday 2/15 Green Day- and Pack the Place

This week in Course 2 we will be solving inequalities and learning about functions.

In Pre-Algebra we will be finishing up chapter 7. The students will have a quiz on Thursday then begin reviewing for their test on 2/14.
